How do I use The Plow® 2.0?
First, lubricate the area you will be shaving – this will help reduce friction and protect your skin.
Once your skin is prepped and ready, hold The Plow® 2.0 at an angle between 30 and 45 degrees relative to the surface of the skin. The angled zinc alloy head and weighted handle will help you get a close shave without needing to add extra pressure.
Using short, controlled strokes, shave with the grain, aka the direction of your hair growth. This method should also help you reduce the likelihood of skin irritation.
Each blade for The Plow® 2.0 has two sides, so carefully flip it over once one side starts to clog to start fresh with a new, ultra-sharp cutting edge.
PRO TIP: Start your routine off by getting in a warm shower. This allows your pores to open and your hair to soften. Next, hop out of the shower, towel off, and follow the steps listed above.
How often should I replace the blades for The Plow® 2.0?
We recommend changing the blades every time you shave.
You may think changing the blades each time you shave is excessive, but there are reasons for it:
- A fresh blade gives you optimal shaving performance (think: extreme smoothness).
- It helps reduce razor burn.
- A new blade each time you shave is the most sanitary option because of how easy it is to spread bacteria and germs.
PRO TIP: The Plow® 2.0 blades are double sided, which allows you to get the most out of each blade. Get yourself a fresh set of blades for The Plow® 2.0 face razor with a 30-pack of refill blades here.

What are the dimensions of The Plow® 2.0?
The Plow® 2.0 dimensions are 6 x 3 x 2 inches or 15 x 8 x 5 cm.
How can I reduce razor bumps when shaving my face?
The Plow® 2.0’s single blade was designed to help reduce painful ingrown hairs and uncomfortable razor burn.
To help reduce razor burn, start by always using a sharp, clean razor blade.
With a double-edge razor, like The Plow® 2.0, this is really easy. As soon as the blade is the least bit dull or clogged, carefully flip the blade.
When the blade is sharp, it cuts hair more easily. That means you can take fewer strokes, and it will glide on your skin better—leading to smoother shaving.
