What’s the difference between The Chairman™ Plus and The Chairman™ Pro?

The foil shaver head of The Chairman™ Plus has three blades (two foil blades and a long-hair leveler) and can shave up to three days of facial hair growth down to skin. The foil shaver head on The Chairman™ Pro has four blades and can shave up to five days of facial hair growth. The Chairman™ Plus is a great choice for an everyday shave guy (up to once every three days). Two interchangeable blade heads give you a smooth, gentle shave whether you’re going skin-close or just cleaning up the edges. Both The Chairman™ Plus and The Chairman™ Pro feature a pivoting head, a trimmer precision lock, and a travel lock.

How do I use The Chairman™ Plus?

Wash your face and pat dry. If preferred, apply our Power Shave Gel. Hold The Chairman™ Plus flat against the skin. Gently glide the shaver up and down. Let the blade head pivot and seamlessly navigate the contours of your face while maintaining even pressure.

Pro tip: Exfoliate your face prior to shaving for better results. Then, use our Power Shave Gel to ensure a smooth glide to get a close, clean and comfortable shave, and finish with our Face Shave Soother to relieve freshly shaved skin.

One more thing: We don't recommend using this foil shaver with water alone or when sweaty. Slight moisture on the face can cause stickiness when shaving.

What blade attachments does The Chairman™ Plus have?

With The Chairman™ Plus, you get two shaving attachments: a SkinSafe® three-blade foil that includes two easy-glide stainless-steel foils and a long-hair leveler, plus a precision trimmer for sideburns and touchups.*

Can I use it in the shower?

Absolutely! The Chairman️™ Plus is IPX7* rated, which means it can be used for wet or dry trimming and shaving. That also means you can rinse it under running water for easy cleanup.

*Meets the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) Standard 60529 rating of IPX7 to protect against immersion in up to one meter of fresh water for up to 30 minutes.

How do I use the travel lock feature on The Chairman️™ Plus?

Use the second smaller button below the power button. While device is off, hold the button for three seconds to turn travel lock on or off.

How is The Chairman™ Plus powered and charged?

The Chairman™ Plus is powered by long-lasting rechargeable battery that gives you up to 60 minutes of runtime and can be charged using the provided USB-C cable.
